I do experiment but you only see the pictures I post on here. You have no idea what all I draw in my sketchbook. Yeah I do know I need to learn more on porportions and I accept that but at least I'm better on porportions then making all of my characters anorexic. Yes I would LOVE critique. I always strive for critique in my drawings one friend asked me if I wanted to critique and I replied with a whole hearted YES. Apparently, DA has just turned into a flamers heaven rather than a place where artists can get together and just make critiques. Yeah me laughing at people trolling Amuria doesn't really DO anything. I'm not the two accounts so whether I laugh or not they're still going to do it. I don't go on Amuria's frontpage and start flaming her. Hell, there was a long conversation with me and 2 other people about how Amuria should leave DA for a bit and take a break from all the flamers on her front page.

Yeah I did know that about Star. But if Star didn't like Pride and didn't want her (or more pain) then she wouldn't of accepted her back now, wouldn't she? So its none of our buisness what goes on between those 3 no matter how much they talk about it in public. Because unless your ACTUALLY star or ranu then you have no right to judge Pride. The only people that do are Ranu and Star themselves.

Oh ic. You use a mouse too, then you would understand how hard it is to use a mouse when it comes to drawing on the computer. I used to use a mouse too, and I can tell you Pride draws a hell of a lot better than I did with a mouse. If I break my tablet I wouldn't be able to use a mouse at all.
Haha pfft art is art. Hello ever been to a Museum? Or even Art gallerys? Some of the stuff in there aren't always what you could call proportioned. Ever seen Picasso's art? Half of his stuff is pretty much all out of proportioned too! Then there are blobs of smushed paint on canvases that are consider art too, some are even painted by animals, so the painting itself int he end doesn't really look much like anything. So don't go being a sarcastic little ass with me.

Yeah i know that PV's are a stupid meaningless statistic, its the reason why Amuria has so many. Not because her art is awesome but because so many people go to her page to flame the crap outta her, they don't even really look at her bloody art.

I'm self-taught, so that kind of excuse doesn't quite fly with me. Re-drawing pictures will only get you so far if you don't teach yourself basics, ffff. Srsly, stop looking at manga for a minute and actually learn the rules of proportion so that you can apply them with exaggeration correctly. @W@

You don't know anything about what's going on between Ranu and Pride. Just because they sometimes have small arguements on this front page doesn't mean you know the whole story. Knowing one side isn't the full story. Please don't insult Pride.
And who gives you the right to judge what Pride's art is like. Art is all different. And her linearts are like that because she is still learning how to use photoshop and she uses a mouse to draw!
There is nothing wrong with being thankful for having a certain amount of pageviews.
I'm sure the day you get as many pageviews as Pride your gonna be happy and thank people and even if you don't mean to you will gloat about it, because when anyone mentions they have a certain amount of pageviews finally they are slightly gloating about it. Even i've done it, even if I only had 10k at the time.

Thanks for the slight critque...? I know my lineart is terrible it's because I'm still not that great at photoshop... and how can you say no versatility when I do quite a few different poses throughout my gallery... as for the eyes I don't understand what you mean exactly by 'droopy' but I guess it's the fact I slant them a bit?;;

Yes I do agree my limbs on my characters look stiff but what do you expect when I'm still (1) learning to draw and (2) learned everything I know from redrawing, and practicing poses and such from other pictures then doing variations of my own. I am self-taught and it can only take me so far. However, if you have some kind of advice on how I can possibly fix it that'd be more appreciated then calling me newfag \:

First off I have read this and considered it and I'll tell you that one thing you have majorly wrong is that I am NOT over-confident on my art. Half the time I beg for critique and I don't recieve any.
I will admit I have done wrong to Ranu but we have patched things up and the comments you are reading are from a month ago.
I don't 'brag' about my pageviews I just get excited that I have so many I mean because I've never really been noticed in the art world. I know I didn't earn all of the pageviews but I earned a lot of them myself... I think I got up to about 10,000 when Ranu started plugging me in her journal.
And with the whole leaving comments on her page it was because in the beginning she was like 'I don't want to see you again' so I desperately tried to patch things up and seriously I'm not as low as to go to her to try and get pageviews.
If that were the case I would just plug myself all over her page and basically ask her to draw me fanart/plug me and I don't. The Azure picture she drew was for me and she left out my icon and DA name and I don't care.
And FYI I didn't make fun of Amuria I just posted 2 people who are trolling her and that I found it amusing. However, that was only in the beginning when it was harmless fun but then they switched to flamers which made me not like them, I'm just lazy when it comes to updating journals.
Ugh and that's a slightly racist comment calling it a 'black negro tree' it's suppose to be a dryad spirit \: and I know you say to not take offense but it's kinda hard when you put in such harsh words. Don't worry though I'm not going to be like most people and go "OMG u dont me."
And you have false accusations... you assume I'm like every other person on DeviantArt who is pageview and popular hungry. Seriously, I fell in love with Ranu and soon after that I found out Star loved me... in the beginning I was conflicted on who to pick and in the end I did choose Ranu.
I didn't do it for popularity. Hell I wouldn't give a second thought about deleting this DA account and leaving it. This is mostly a gallery to keep pictures and to witness my own progress.
Plus I would like to see your art too. I'm kinda curious as to what it looks like...
And I AM trying to improve on my artwork. I've changed styles a few times, got better at porportions, and have improved on my photoshop coloring. Please understand my style is different and I don't wish to make drawings with the same forlorn expression like Amuria does. I will admit that her coloring is pretty but the dodge does burn.
You have your personal opinion and although some of it is right some of it is also wrong too.
Really, what has the world come to when people outright tell you your art is ugly yet don't tell you what's wrong with it?

Last but not least about my friends... I met Star first, met Ranu through Star and then Ranu told me to join iAnti... from there I became an admin and made friends with the other admins and with some of the members... unfortunately the only people I talk to from iAnti anymore is Ranu and Tag....
And whose to say I don't care? I really do but it's hard to tell someone things when you have someone else breathing down your neck about the things you do... I try to keep both Star and Ranu happy but I fail miserably because when I do one thing the other one either gets sad or angry so maybe I am the piece that doesn't belong but when I attempted to cut myself out Ranu pulled me back in so it's not a one-sided friendship.
